Arthroscopic Surgical Treatment of Osteochondritis Dissecans of the Knee

Abstract
|

|
We analyzed 12 cases of osteochondritis dissecans of the kne3e which were treated with arthrosocpic surgery.
@ES The results obtained were as follows:
@EN 1. Lateral discoid meniscus were associated with osteochondritis dissecans which developed in the lateral femoral condyle in 4 of 12 cases.
2. Whether lateral discoid meniscus is one of the predisposing factors of osteochondritis dissecans is the matter for conjecture.
3. Arhtroscopy is the very useful procedure for the treatment of osteochondritis dissecans.
